Galleries

Quick update. I'm in the process of creating a new website during my free time. It will include galleries and printing options. I signed up for SmugMug.com to host my photos and to sell prints to my all my clients, which is really exciting.

I'm still new to all of this, so it will take a bit of time to get used to all the site's functionality. I can't wait to get an actual custom website built. All in due time though. I'm going at a comfortable pace for me. I certainly don't want to overwhelm myself with all this extra work. After all, this isn't the only thing going on in my life.

More to come! =)

Hey Look! A New Button!

Hey guys! I know, I know. Its been freakin' forever since I last posted, but I have been crazy busy. I have just finished my first semester back in school. I passed both classes and the Summer I semester is just around the corner. Check out my other blog (Aflipsnote.blogspot.com) for details of whats going on.

Anyway, back to the main point, I added a new banner here on the blog. Its for Client Proofing. What does this mean? This means that I added printing capabilities. For those of you who don't know, I usually don't provide printing for any of my clients. I prefer to just hand them a disc and say, "They're all yours, do as you wish." Well, for added service, I will not only give my clients a disc, I will also put their images in a protected gallery so that they may peruse through their images and choose what they wish to be printed.

Thanks to my friend Diane Hernandez for the tip about this printing service webiste that I am now going through! Check out her website at http://www.dianehernandezphotographer.com/. I met Diane my sophomore year of college in film class. Probably one of the most fun people I ever met in college. Now she's turning out to be one of my favorite photographers.

I just finished an engagement shoot at the Dallas World Aquarium today. It was so much fun to be back out there shooting. It has been a while. I did get pooped on by a bird during the shoot, which was no fun, but more on that later when I post images from the shoot.

Until then!

Keep on playin'

Two posts within a week... what?? =)

Last year, I introduced my friend Nate to you all in the blog post "Dreamin' Big and Stepping Forward" (http://gzamoraphotographie.blogspot.com/2010/03/dreamin-big-and-stepping-forward.html.) He's currently working on a new album. He called me up again and asked me if I could come out to shoot a studio session. So I did.

I brought the flashes out, but I only used them half of the time. Most of the time we were in another room and I was too lazy to move my lights. Oh well. Bump up the ISO, open up the aperture and use longer than normal exposures and hope that none of them move for 1/30th of a second. Here's how some of them turned out.

I had fun that night... last night rather. It was quite interesting to see how an actual recording session worked. Needless to say that it was my first time in a recording studio, and I was amazed at the amount of work that goes into one song. We were there forever, but seeing my good friend Nate at work doing what he loves to do was well worth it. As far as the song, well, its stuck in my head, and I have a rough cut on my iPod on a loop. Nuff said. Great work buddy!

More to come from this session.
